Diamond in the rough...

ENGAGED!!! That is right! My man proposed on Sunday, March 13th. We have done life a bit...or completely...backward. First we meet, ok that's normal. Then we move in together...Reno our entire new dwelling. Then low and behold we are pregnant!! YAYA!! Then move to court-ordering the Ex (his not mine) out of the mix. Now mere weeks away from welcoming our first baby together we are engaged!! We are extactic!! Who knows when, where or how our big wedding ( not at all big & totally informal)will take place. But either way we are excited for that path! Not to say our lives together have been easy and smooth sailing, however the smooth parts are fantastic and the bumps just add to our journey. So there World...we went through the back door and two off beat people have concurred a lifetime of stress only to end up at the blissfully beginning. We found one another and will always think of each other as diamonds in the rough. And to symbolize this the ring that my beloved chose for us is a stunning rough diamond custom built for our love. ***by the way...baby x's countdown is at 3weeks exactly today! ***

Countdown to destination LIFE.....

You probably don't know, but right now I am taking the trip of a lifetime.
Have been for the past 8 months.....and now we are on our countdown to destination life. We are expecting a life changing trip for both me and my Mr. X.....our first baby. 
So as of now the countdown is on!! One month to go and so far the travels have been smooth sailing....Phew. 
As the end does near however the excitement and nerves set in for where this boat will take us.Will everything go smoothly, will we be good travellers, will the journey be as much fun with 3 as it was with 2?  The anticipation is almost driving me batty!! =D 
We don't yet know whether our wee guide will be a little lad or a lass so we are prepared for both and are excited regardless.

This trip has been like no other and I would highly suggest this journey to anyone! Fun and full of surprises! At each turn there is a new lesson and new photo's to have imprinted in your mind as you grow, the baby grows and your relationship it put through the test of time, patience, and support. 

So I thought it would be fun to countdown together......So here we are.....WEEK 36!!! EEEEK!!!! Getting bigger and bigger and the room our little swimmer has is lessening and perhaps cramping the style of wee baby to be.

The Beginning.

Hello there, my name is Paisley Campbell and I have decided that I have far too many opinions and reviews in this head of mine to keep to myself any longer. I will be posting blogs (I am very very new to this, so any constructive criticisms is helpful) that pertain mostly to my travels. Travels abroad, travels locally and travels through day to day life. I am an absolute " Foodie" so my delicious feasts will be showcased and hopefully described in a way you will want to get there and feast yourself.....dining is always more enjoyable with others. :) So sit back, relax and please be patient with me as I am a blogger in training.
